Where: Planned Parenthood in Aurora, IL
When: Sat, Sept.1 at 1PM
Who: All students and faculty from the surrounding colleges and

Why: To save babies and to stand up for all the youth that will be

Dear students, faculty, friends, and ministers,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Greg Guest, and I am a
student at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, and an active participant
in the Chicago area pro-life movement. As many of you already know, The
Planned Parenthood Foundation of America has recently built a facility
in Aurora, IL, the latest of their now 11 Chicago area facilities. They
have already made it quite clear that this facility will be ‘full-serve’
and will be performing abortions. Many in the pro-life movement have
already risen to the challenge of keeping vigil outside of the facility
before it’s opening day on September 18. (

several large protests, and one that we are currently planning with the
limited amount of time that we have is our Youth for Truth Pro-life
Rally. This will take place on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 1PM. We will be
meeting outside the Planned Parenthood as well as the surrounding
streets in the local neighborhood to make our voices known. As of now
we are expecting approximately 300-400 youth and young adults. I am of
course contacting you the members of our local colleges and
univerisities, that your schools and communities may be represented as
we peacefully express our disapproval and disgust at the presence of
this new facility. We are planning to have several speakers to lead the
rally, as well as perhaps bringing in some music to further bring the
rally together. But overall, we are intending to hold a true,
down-to-earth, grass-roots protest and vigil, so that the community, as
well as Planned Parenthood Chicago, might see that we as the young
adults of the area do not approve of their presence in our community.
Anyone who shows up will receive a free Youth for Truth t-shirt as well
as water and a shuttle service being provided. The address of the
Planned Parenthood, which has been recently changed due to
technicalities regarding the positioning of the building, is 3051 E. New
York St. Aurora
Parking will be at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Eola Road,
approximately a mile south of New York St. (701 S. Eola Rd.)
Please contact me with any questions, concerns, and suggestions. As
the college and university representative for the event, I will be more
than glad to assist in any way I can. I must apologize for the short
notice. As you can see, we’re are trying to pull this together rather
quickly, so even the smallest of numbers attending from any of the
campuses around the area would be excellent.
Sincerely,
Greg Guest
