American Life League’s annual National Pro-Life T-shirt Week runs from next Tuesday, April 27 to Monday, May 3. The goal of NPLTW is to raise awareness of the humanity of the child in the womb by publicly spreading the truth about abortion.

The fifth annual Spring Festival of Life is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Peoria Notre Dame High School, (corner of Glen Ave. and Sheridan Rd). This fund raiser will benefit the Family Resources Center in Peoria and includes a dinner and dessert buffet, catered by LaGondola Spaghetti House as well as a live and silent auction and a raffle. Admission to the auction is free and walk-ins are welcome. Tickets for the buffet (5:00 – 6:30 p.m) are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 12 and under.
Now in its 28th year, the Family Resources Center is dedicated to protecting and defending human life and strengthening the family. Its library of thousands of family-oriented books and audio-visuals is available to the public at no charge.

On Friday, January 22nd 2010, over 200 students from Illinois college campuses joined with an estimated 400,000 fellow pro-lifers for the 37th annual March for Life.
Saturday, many pilgrims participated in Students for Life of America’s National Conference, which featured pro-life giants from across the country. After participating in several educational workshops throughout the day, Illinois students gathered with SFLI Executive Director John-Paul Deddens and SFLI Board Member Alicia Torres for a final call to action – to put an end to abortion through dynamic, passionate campus leadership.
