The 40 Days for Life campaign that SFLI led in Champaign this Spring came to an end this past Sunday. There was a rally and about 60 pro-life supporters came out to close out the vigil.
After almost 40 days of faithful prayer, fasting and vigil we had not see any direct results from our efforts. The Planned Parenthood in Champaign commits abortions on Friday mornings. Friday after Friday we did not see any women change their minds. However, the very last Friday of the vigil, 3 women chose LIFE for their children. We offered any help or support that we could and offered them love.
We know that whether we see the results or not that we must remain faithful, but this was a great blessing to see!
